Measure the contents
Record the item’s width, depth and height, including any protective material. Use the product’s dimension basis to distinguish inside usable space from the outside box size.
Choose the construction
Compare the listed corrugated, folding or rigid packaging formats and their stock options. Confirm how the packaging is supplied and assembled; a photographed product inside the box is not automatically included.
Printing and inserts
Identify exterior and interior artwork separately. Custom inserts, special finishes or different stock options require the configuration or quote stated on the product. Do not assume merchandise assembly or fulfillment is included with empty packaging.
Review before production
Confirm the dieline, panels, spelling, fold direction, quantity and delivery requirements. Allow space for protection and test the fit of every component before approving production.
